The Finkenbach Festival has been a regular venue ever since it begans back in the early 70ties. The audience are mainly survivors from the hippie area and "krautrock" fans. It also surprisingly attracts a younger audience. Not what you would say a typical blues audience, but apparently just right for Louisiana Red & The Dynamite Daze. Our performance started at midnight, following Mani Neumeiers Band Guru Guru. What a great gig we had. We´ll be showing how it went as soon as we receive the live recording. In the meanwhile there are photos from the festival, which took place in the idylic setting of the Odenwald forest, and can be seen in our gallery.

We are proud to say that one of the biggest European independent agencies - Inakustik -looks after our Greatest Hits. Thanks to our label friends from StoMoRecords for their support.

Two picturesque villages and a little town in switzerland were the first places of our tour. It was not surprising that our friends around Lucerne know how to celebrate, but we did not foresee that we would be fêted at the idyllic Rheinau.
In spite of a snowstorm our concert was sold out and our fans and not only those who had come from France made sure that we remember our tour start 2010 fondly.

Right now we have finished the final takes of our debut-album Greatest Hits. It will be released in March 2010 on the label of our Ludwigsburg friends of Stormy Monday Records. You can listen to some of the tunes of the CD here on the Madhouse Jukebox.

Be part of the gig on 28 January in Sempach near Luzern. It's at the Bierhaus Pub where The Dynamite Daze start their Different Shapes Tour 2010. For more information see our schedule...

True to their motto Different Shapes The Dynamite Daze go back to their roots when they play shows together with blueslegend Louisiana Red in Dortmund and Fürstenfeld in February...
